App Prototype Bootstrap Site
For this project, I created a Bootstrap landing page for the app prototype. The prototype was for a theoretical company created through design thinking in my capstone class. I coded and customized the site with HTML, CSS and Bootstrap. All of the content is original.

For this project, I completed an app prototype. The prototype was for a theoretical company created through design thinking in my capstone class. I designed the prototype using Figma. I also created the logo and many graphics for the prototype using Canva.
Business Research and Pitch Deck
For this group project, I contributed to the research and pitch deck for a business concept. The company concept was created through design thinking in the Digital Media Innovation Capstone class. I designed the pitch deck using Canva.
Coding and Data Skills
The final project for my Coding and Data Skills course required incorporating all of the skills we learned in the class. We used Bootstrap, Javascript, JSON, JQuery, Google Charts API, filtering large datasets and in-depth research into a topic of our choice. I selected to research and report voter participation. The website includes interactive features such as charts and a searchable database.
Interactive Quiz
This interactive quiz was coded with Javascript for my Coding and Data Skills course. I was required to create a web application that takes input from a user and provides something that changes the DOM. Once the user clicks “submit,” the quiz calculates the answers and gives the user their results.
Interactive Charts
These interactive charts were coded with Javascript utilizing Google Charts API. I researched and found the data through the U.S. Census Bureau.
Social Media Analytics Reports
These analytics reports were created for a client in my Advanced Social Media and Analytics course at Texas State University. I created the reports on Canva. My professor asked if they could be used as examples for future classes.
Blog
For one of my favorite courses, “Fundamentals of Digital and Online Media,” we were assigned to make a blog – about anything – and maintain it throughout the semester. For that project, I wrote about gardening with herbs because who doesn’t love a good herb? All photos, content and video are original. Disclaimer: there will be puns.

Video Recording and Editing
This assignment challenge for Web Design and Publishing included finding an interviewee then recording and editing a video within about 40 minutes. The video was recorded on my iPhone and edited on iMovie. In this video, Juan Garcia speaks about working at KTSW. He is a student at Texas State University studying Digital Media Innovation.
Logo
My logo was creating in Adobe Photoshop for my Web Design and Publishing class at Texas State University. AHR are my initials, standing for Ashley Hallford Romo.
Multimedia Reporting Assignment
For this project in Web Design and Publishing, I used Bootstrap to develop a multimedia reporting site including original video, written content and photos.
WordPress Project
For my final project in Web Design and Publishing, I created a website for Nico Romo, a teacher in Austin, TX. The website was built on WordPress with customized CSS and includes original video, photos and written content.
